Below you will find information on how
to fit a RJ45 Connection Plug and
includes a video to help you in this task.

With a lot of cat 6 cables being used
every day you're going to come across
the need to fit an RJ 45 connector
onto an end of a cat 6 cable.

You can buy cat 6 patch leads with the RJ45 connectors all ready moulded on
to the ends of the cables.

But if you need to get
a cable though a
a wall

You would have to make the hole the size
of the RJ45 connector plug
Which means a Big hole

moulded onto the end of the cable.

It's much neater if you only have the hole the
size of the cat 6 cable

So we are going to show you how
easy it is to fit an RJ45 connector Plug

The best RJ45
connector Plugs to use
are the RJ45 connector Plugs
with the through holes.

This means that when
you insert the strands of
smaller cables that are
inside the cat 6 cable
you can see how they are
lying in the connector.
You also do not have to
try and cut them to length.

the cable strands through the holes

Then once you have them in place you need
to crimp the connector plug with a pair of plyers.
Cut the strands of cable protruding from the
end of the RJ45 connector plug with
a Stanley knife

When you are fitting 2 plug ends
you use the same colour
coding as the first RJ 45 Plug you fitted
